ANC`s Readiness for Elections Victory

ANC`s Readiness for Elections Victory

6 May 2014

The people of the Northern Cape are ready to deliver a decisive victory for the ANC in the elections of the 07 May 14.

All our volunteers, our structures, our supporters and our members are highly mobilized, and they can`t wait to go out in their thousands to cast their vote for a better life, by voting for the ANC.

The leadership of the ANC has been deployed all-over the province to assist and support the LETs and RETs with elections work. We also have international observers from different political parties and different countries to observe the elections, and possibly learn some lessons from the experience.

The provincial leadership of the ANC, in particular the top six officials of the ANC, will be voting as follows:

  1. Comrade John Block, Chairperson of the ANC, will be voting on the 07 May 2014 at the Club House Homing Society, in Hillcrest at 07h00.
  2. Comrade Premier, Sylvia Lucas, will be voting on the 07 May 2014, at ND Swarts Saal, in Rosedale, Upington at 09h00.
  3. Comrade Kenny Mmoiemang, Deputy Chairperson of the ANC, will be voting Sinclair in Batlharos, Kuruman, on the 07 May 2014 at 08h00.
  4. Comrade Zamani Saul, Provincial Secretary of the ANC, will be voting at the NG Kerk, in Petrusville, on the 07 May 2014 at 07h00.
  5. Comrade Alvin Botes, Deputy Provincial Secretary of the ANC, will be voting at Kimberley Junior School, on the 07 May 2014, in Kuruman at 18h30.
  6. Comrade Yolanda Botha, Provincial Treasurer of the ANC, will be voting at Kimberley Junior School, in Kimberley, on the 07 May 2014 at 07h30.
  7. Comrade Dipuo Peters, Minister for Department of Transport will vote at Kimberley Junior in Kimberley at 10h00 on 07 May 2014.
  8. Comrade Godfrey Oliphant, the Deputy Minister for the Department of Mineral Resources will be voting at the Roman Catholic Church at 07h30 on 07 May 2014.

We are confident that just like the Special Votes, over the past two days; elections day will go without any incidents of violence and intimidation. We urge all the farmers in the province to allow farm workers to go out and exercise their democratic right to vote. They should clearly not prevent nor intimidate their workers to vote for the party of their choice.

We call on the community of the Northern Cape to go out in their numbers to exercise their hard-won democratic right, which they never had for many years, to cast their vote for a government of their choice.
